David Lacombe | CHIEF CREATIVE Director

David grew up traveling the world as the son of a Green Beret in the U.S. Army, from California to Germany and everywhere in between. David's travels have helped sculpt his creative approach and give him a unique toolbox to draw inspiration.

Upon retiring from the military, David's father moved the family to Dallas, TX. David soon got the travel bug and moved to New York City to pursue his love of creative storytelling. He created branded content for some of the city's most sought-after real estate properties.

Following his heart, David eventually returned to Dallas to be with his true love and earn his Associate of Applied Arts in Motion Picture Production from KD Conservatory. Through the mentorship of the Motion Picture Production Chair, Dennis Bishop, David was introduced to M3 Films, and his talents in directing and producing flourished.

David has produced and directed for a variety of clients, including PepsiCo, Coachella, RadioShack, Texas Capital Bank, EarthX, The Luxxe Look, Paul Mitchell, Faulkner Design Group, Southern Botanical, NEC, DART, Texas Counter Fitters, First Service Residential, Intuit, Hohner and the ADDY award-winning campaign, Santa for Potus. He currently leads the marketing efforts for Texas Counter Fitters and consults as the company's Director of Marketing.

David is also heavily involved with the development of live VR content, as well as standard live broadcast content for clients such as; META, Amazon, Google, YouTube, Twitch, Academy Awards (ABC), Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (NBC), Latin Grammy's (Univision), Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Voodoo, Life is Beautiful, Something in the Water, Head in the Clouds, Vive Latino, Bruno Mars, Katie Perry, Cold Play, U2, Muse, Elton John, Migos, Eric Church, BTS, DJ Khaled, Shaquille O'Neal, NBA, UFC, DAZN, LFA and many more. Each April, David heads west to direct one of the main stages at Coachella!

Under the M3 banner, along with Susan and Melina, he has created the WhatMatters Symposium: navigating today’s complex issues one topic at a time through a 3-part panel series (What, Why, How). The first production under the WhatMatters Symposium will be StoneMatters: building for the future in the face of severe weather.

David's primary focus is the creation of original, branded content, with a focus on storytelling with a narrative presence, for social media and traditional TV commercials.

He spends quality time with his wife and son when he's not working.
